Alyssa Stevens’ “to feel it all once more” to be auctioned off at Wannenes Auction House in Milan
“to feel it all once more” is the eighth pen-on-paper illustration in the 26-year old artist’s collection
titled “the intangible” and is currently on exhibit at the esteemed Wannenes Art Auction House in Milan. As one of sixteen works to be auctioned off as part of Wannenes’ first “Phygital” Exhibit, each work in the lot includes both the NFT (non-fungible token) minted on the Ethereum blockchain, as well as the physical artwork.
Premiering in Milan on the evening of May 27th at Wannenes Phygital Exhibit Opening and on view through May 29th, “to feel it all once more” will go to auction on May 30th at 4PM CET (10AM ET). “to feel it all once more” conveys the push and pull between the beauty and darkness of life and the desire to feel everything deeply, including the pain. Nostalgia and despair for the constant fleetingness of the present moment are consistent themes throughout Stevens’ work, which can be seen in phrases throughout the piece, including “I want to go back in time just to feel it all…once more.” Stevens’ detailed linework mirrors the interconnected nature of her own memories and emotions throughout her life, as well as that of the Universe.
